Inspiring producer JamesBangura delivers a deep, masterful, hypnotic take on Grub Hub with sub-rattling bass and chainlike percussion. Then, Maison Fauna co-founders Kir and Séance give us a deft 2-step garage workout derived from IJustDroppedMyMarbles’s sirens and choppy vocals. Made of Oak (Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn) samples Grub Hub’s catchy vocals and weaves them into a beautiful melodic dive through cascading synths and organic textures. Finally, UKG legend Para graces us with a joyful 4-on-the-floor garage rework of Grub Hub that takes the source material in a completely different direction.
